Are you still in India? And if so, is you PR card still valid (not expired)?

Unfortunately it is not relevant if contracts are in your name or not. You need to be physically present in Canada for 730 days in the last five years. Also based on your dates of presence in Canada, you seem to be much more than just 30 days short of your residence. You barely have 200 days of residence in Canada. If that is correct, that you can only hope for an application based on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds. But others would have to help out here, I have no experience with that.

But again, they don't care if you have mobile phone contracts in Canada in your name or if you pay someone else's rent on time. PR status isn't based on good conduct but on physical presence.

You need have physical presence in Canada to keep your PR status. It doesn't matter how many contracts do you have in Canada.
Unfortunately, it seems like you are in trouble.

You are not taking into account that you get an implied credit for the first 1825 days from first landing. So, you have to calculate the days outside Canada to determine if the RO can be met. The OP has until 18th April 2017 of potential residency time as that's when the first 5 years ends. If more than 1095 days outside Canada have been used by that date, the OP is stuck...

Some brief maths would seem to indicate that the 1095 days has been exceeded.

Apply after 730 days.
Confucius. ..... u asked me to apply after completing 730 days
Later on I was advices to wait two years then apply...

from 2012 to 2017 I would have completed 700 days ,so basically i will be 30 days short so I don't understand why I should wait for another 2 years more to apply

I am sorry I know this back and forth must be quite frustrating ....I apologize
Thanks

Please show your mathematics in detail that shows how the 700 days were accumulated.

Once you pass the 5 year deadline on April 19th, 2017, you will start to lose those days from 2012, as they will be outside the 5 year window.

It's simple: on the day that you apply for renewal, you need at least 730 days in Canada in the 5 previous years from that date.

Sorry, you are not right. Your 5 years ends on 23rd April 2017. After that, you lose a day at the end of April 2012 for every day that you move forward. The issue and expiry date on the PR Card is irrelevant when calculating the residency obligation requirements.

You also said "I landed in Canada April 19th 2012 left may 11th 2012". Why are you now saying about 24th April?

(updated to take new information into account)
