30 days clarification

Hi guys

I was wondering about the 30 days deadline for Medical Requests. Is the 30 days for just having the medical examination done or 30 days for both medical examination and the submission of the medical to CIC by the doctor?

Since exam results are submitted electronically (eMedical) by pretty much a majority of those Panel Physicians the submission and receiving of medicalsare done on the same day. The only thing is you usually wait 3-5 business days for your XRAY and blood/urine results reach your doctor after you do those. In my case I had my examination on Wednesday, did the XRAY same day right after the exam and did blood and urine the next day. My doctor got all the results and submitted them to CIC the next Monday.
So either way I would not guess and just call CIC to confirm or even better just tried to do everything ASAP.

Okay because the earliest date I could get an appointment is January 18 which is 5 days before the 30 days deadline.
Do you think that is enough time to get everything done?

You'd be better off asking the doctor's office - they would know more, they do it every day. I only had it done once.
But in my opinion it should be fine, close to deadline but fine.
