3 Years Work Permit Eligibility basis Two Post graduation program

I am seeking clarification regarding my work permit eligibility after switching programs.

  1. I initially applied for a Project Management program that was listed on the PGWP list, but it was removed in November 2024.
  2. I am now planning to apply for a different program that is on the PGWP list.
  3. According to IRCC, if a study permit was applied for before November 2024, the field of study requirement does not apply.
My question is: If I apply for a study permit extension or a new study permit for the second program, will this be considered as a “previously applied” application or a “new” one? If it’s considered "previously applied," will I be eligible for a three-year work permit upon completing the new program?

You want to have a PGWP eligible program. Plus you should get a PGWP for the length of the 2 programs, not 3 years. PGWP site has changed that.
