We are a Family of 4, Landed last June 2013, we are currently not in Canada. Last week our relatives informed us that 3 PR cards only were received, for the mother and the 2 kids. but my PR Card is not yet received!! (I am the principle applicant)

Any one has or had a similar Experience?? or anyone can advise??

Thanks,

Call CIC customer care or send out an email immediately.

The PR cards are sent out individually so sometimes one of them ends up coming later. In some cases it's the spouse or one child who doesnt' get one. Still, you say you landed in June, that means 3 months. CIC says 75 days to process a new PR card: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp so you don't have to worry too much if yours is taking a couple of weeks more. Give it another 2-3 weeks and then contact them if it hasn't arrived.

Thank you Leon so much for your clear answer. If after 3 weeks i need to contact them and I am now not in Canada, which phone number or email address shall i use???

Thanks Dear, Just to let you know, I have received my wife and Kids PR Cards after 77 Days, and mine is 85 days up to date not received yet!!!!

Any more opinions please?????

Just to let you know that there are people who landed 3 years ago but did not receive PR card:

Sometimes that happens. From what I have heard, if you call the call centre about it, they will tell you to wait until 6 months after your landing. If it still didn't show up, report it lost and apply for a new card. Of course that means you need photos again and some $50 for the processing.

oh My God, I hope not. this is a very pessimistic point of view. Many People in many other threads had their PR Cards delayed for One or 2 months and then it was safely delivered to them. I hope that mine will be delivered soon in God's Name.

PR card never showing up at all is not common but that would be the worst that could possibly happen.

I got my card exactly after 91 days from landing. I hope that will help
