I am having nightmares at night and I am very anxious for the application that I haven't even submitted. The reason being is that I have about 20K pounds saved and it was all for a long-term plan to move to Canada. It all started in 2016 after returning from working in the US, but had to come back to the UK. Since then, I tried getting as much as skilled experience as I can, but always had issues with the companies I worked for in terms of the reference letters. Long-story short. I ended up with 4 different NOCs for my application. I have all the other documents ready.
1. NOC - Financial Sales Representatives - the company I worked for was a bank in the UK. They were very sceptical of the reference letter and downgraded my responsibitlities on it, making it more like a CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER than a financial sales representative. (1 year and 9 months experience)
2. NOC - Marketing & Advertising - the company I started to work for full-time made me a self-employed contractor making me ineligible to go through the process, however I still got a reference letter from them with the right responsibilities, but SELF-EMPLOYED
I work for another company based in the US (remotely) providing the same responsibiltiies as the one in the UK, but I do it remotely. All digital marketing etc. - making me eligible, but again - SELF-EMPLOYED with 3 years of experience in this NOC - 2 years in this company
3. NOC - Administrative Assistant - again eligible NOC, but just started working in London due to the previous company changing my contract to self-employed (which is in no need for me). - 1 month experience
4. NOC - Housekeeping Supervisor - eligible - have everything ready and completely correct from a US employer to make me eligible. A very easy process to get it as it was a US employer. It seems that UK employers are not willing to help you.
My worry is that I don't know which NOC should I put as primary and I don't want to be marked as MISS-REPRESENTATION and then have a 5 year ban to apply as none of them are for more than 2 years in order to qualify under FSW (I need 1 point if I submit only 1 year experience).
It's ridiculously confusing and I cannot believe I made myself go through this all. I am almost sure that if I present 4 different NOCs to the immigration officer and I am only 25, it will flag, but I am really doing all those things and I am getting paid for it.
