3 months after medicals....no ppr yet

Hello,

My medicals were done on 03/14/2012 and (per DMP) received by Visa office on 03/27/2012. I dont see any updates in e-case status. I was expecting to see a "Medical results received" line. What's the timeline to receive this line in general? Is there something i should be worried about. They did ask for my FBI which they received in the 1st week of May.

Hi if they ask for fbi after u send the medical, means they recieved the medical report and they r preparing for next step. I am very positive about ur case. Wish u good luck

I completed by Meds in Feb and am still waiting for PPR.

A line "Medical Results Have been received" was added my ECAS around 8 weeks ago and now , along with 15-20 (approx.) applicants my address has reappeared after 6 months.

* Medical result received line may or may not be displayed in e-cas status. You might get your PPR without that line showing up.

* Since you submitted your FBI report in May, I believe your security check is in progress, that might take 1 month to 6 months depending on process.

* There is nothing you should be worried about. Just wait. The process also depends on which VO is processing your case.

Please do not worry myself and 3 other friends i know are in the same boat like you. Eventhough slightly different because we were requested to send passports along with medicals , but no line added for medicals recieved.

Relax all will be fine.

No need to worry,
I think that you have also submitted addition documents to your VO, So might be few BC and Sc on the additional document submitted,
Sometimes people get PPR request without updating the ECAS,

NM423....My Medical was done in the mid-February. Along with Medical, I was also asked to submit the latest FBI report which I did after almost a couple of months of completing Medical. After 5 weeks of submitting the FBI report, I got the PPR.

Till date, my status is still showing in-progress and they haven't even bothered to update "Medical Received" in my e-case.

So, in short, you don't need to worry about anything. E-Status may not always be up-to-date but it doesn't mean there is something wrong with you application and no one is working on it. It's just a matter of time. Hoefully, you'll receive your PPR soon. Good Luck!
