Hi,
I am visiting my brother in Vancouver and liked it so much want to try and stay in this country legally. So I thought the best possible way is for me to obtain a student visa, as I have completed my degree in 2012 July.
1. I was told by many to try and do a MBA as I have a degree, cause if I register for anything less the chances of getting rejected is higher. Is that true?
2. Once the course of study is completed chances of getting a job for a MBA holder is better. Is that true?
3. I was advised to do a MBA not less than 2 years by a friend, so that to get a work permit of 3 years. So that it would give suffice time to apply for PR. But a lawyer told me it does not matter the length of the programme, That means even if i do a 1 year programme is alright, what matters is the type of job that the person does after completing the studies. The advice the lawyer is giving is it correct?
4. I am confused as to the length of the programme I should select. Cause I cannot find a MBA programme that goes on for 2 years in Vancouver. Do anyone have any suggestions?
5. Please can anyone suggest a masters programme in HRM, hotel mgt, administration etc that is for 24 months in Vancouver.
6. Can I apply for my student visa in LA, cause I don't want to apply from my country as I know that it is very difficult to get visa's from my country.
Please need your valuable advise.
Thank you
Nemmon
