I had 2 year study permit before. My 3 year pgwp will expire soon next year; points are not enough. I am applying for a new study permit with a recognized DLI. What are my chances of acceptance for new study permit from inside canada ? How much funds do I have to show? Does the fact I already had a pgwp before affect my chances since you have to prove you will go back? How much funds do I have to show ? I heard the rejection rates are higher these days. Please looking for some insights. Also please do not suggest LMIA or share I won't get another pgwp. I know that. Please just answer my specific questions or ignore the post. Thanks a lot everyone.

No one can tell you chances but you need to show career and education progression to justify costs. You must show a minimum of $20k in bank accounts plus pay first year tuition.

Should it be in my Canadian bank account or sponsors bank account

I am 26. I don't have money in my account
So show your sponsor’s bank statements for the last 4 months with tuition payment. IRCC may or may not consider the money since you are living and working in Canada and 26 years old. Make sure your program builds on your last Canadian program, and shows career advancement with higher paying job. Why don’t you learn French to gain points?

I have been learning. At B1 reading now. But listening and writing A1. Very hard with full time job but doing it everyday. I think I can finish it by this year so after first semester of study I will apply under CEC should have enough points. Just don't want to go home that's why trying the study permit. I found a cheap university and got accepted.

Is it a Masters or PhD program? If not, study permits are on hold as provinces will need to issue letters of attestation and provinces are capped at the number of students accepted. Province have until March 31 to post what requirements will be on how to apply for the letters.

Got accepted for Bachelor's at a cheaper university 6k per semester. I finished college diploma in 2021. After that I got good job paying 60k in Canada. Noc B Code. After college diploma and 3 year Canadian work experience in Canada my score is CRS 474. After French it will be 524. I need to do bachelors anyways to advance my career.

A lot of people in manager and vp position in my company have bachelors so I want it to for future
