2nd Child born to Canadian father outside canada,needs canadian citizenship

Hi,

I live in Trinidad and Tobago and was born in Canada..I have canadian citizenship....I have two kids both born in Trinidad, my 1st got canadian citizenship ..I need to get my 2 nd child the same ..he is 4 months old .can someone please send me the link please so i can do so...thanks

You need to apply for proof of citizenship for the child through the Canadian embassy nearest to you, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof.asp for a link to the forms.

They do not issue citizenship cards any more. Your child will get a paper certificate and you can use it to apply for a Canadian passport for the child.
