Gr8.. do you need to submit the passport I dont think so as once you have your medical done then they will ask for passport and they generally return in a month

I submitted the passports when I did the first Medical in October 2009 although it was not mandatory.

Is there any indication/ information ,what cic is doing to clear backlog.ther is no major halchal after 26 . was it all a draama or is thee any quota exhaust problem for 2010.I hope things will be fast enough after Diwali and many more will get medicals

Hi Jalap: Over on the the "Applications after 26/06" thread we are discovering that at least three documents packages that were returned have not made it from CIO to the applicants. One dates back to July 21st. I strongly advise you to follow up where your passport could be. Good luck.

Thank for your advice. Actually, I just shot an email to the VO inquiring about my PP and the current application status. Hopefully I will hear something from them soon.

Forget Email, u'r med done date is way old for issuing visa, I think VO has given a photocopy of the PP submit form, you sould take that form and go straight to Immigration Section of Delhi VO, And ask them where is your PP. If they issued u'r visa within last year then it's even expired now, if they haven't then they certainly will ask u to do med once again, so no point keeping the PP at VO.

GO and Knock Them that will certainly weak them up.
