i had my test on the 23rd, did a pathetic job so not really looking forward to it...
making arrangements to write it again unfortunately

I did mine from Turkey on Sept 24th. Results are online today. mine: L8 R8.5 W7.5 S6.5

Hate this... If only got another half a point from speaking them my CRS score would be around 60 higher. I dont know if taking it again will make it better or worse...

How was yours?

Improve your ielts score to have better chances in express entry,aim for at least 8 in listening and 7 in the rest.

Dear All,

Can any one answer my query.

I got result on 24 Sep 16 , First BC send me sms with my number and score ( I was happy ) then when I checked online thru there website ( I was shock ) to see the results . There were changes to two modules ...( Reading and writing ) they reduce 0.5 band in each module on website . Till I didn't took the original copy.

Just want to know which marks should I consider for time being .

There is a chance but if i'm not mistaken you would have to wait around 4 weeks to receive the re-evaluation results.

Some people choose to re-take the test as the re-evaluation costs half the price of the test.

But do you have any idea for how long the result will be withheld? It's not possible to apply for re-evaluation until i have the original IELTS test report form.

It varies, from weeks to months sometimes.

If I were you I would contact British Council to see if they can provide any info.
