2147 computer engineer question.....please help brothers&sisters.

hi friends..
In order to fall into this occupation does one has to have the specific titles as it mentions in hrsdc website..
or the main duties can suffice..
I am asking for my husband who has a bachelor in science (hardware & networking) for 3 years and multuple microsoft certificates. for moment he is Technical dirrector (Self Employed) and all the duties under 2147 matchs....in fact in throught out his previous employment. ..
just the designations are different.

hope some one can clear my confusion.

matching the duties is more important than matching job titles

Is it mandatory to have Computer Engineer degree to apply for 2147? Can i not have any other engineering degree ? I do have experience in 2147 but I have mechanical engineering degree . So m i eligible?

The duties should be similar to the duties mentioned by hrsdc, designation can be diff, doesnt matter, but the self employed part is little catch, how long have he been in this self employed part?

its not mandatory to have computer engineering degree for being eligible for 2147, but if you have related degree that is always a positive point.

but as I mentioned earlier, the duties in your job and the designation is the main point to consider.

He is since 2010, its actually a limited company so i am the chairman and he is the share holder...so i signed for his reference letter..we even with draw salaries(tax papers are attached)...so i think we should be fine.
His post in the company is Principal Hardware Engineer & share holder

Employee is different from shareholders(owners)

This can raise several doubts in Immigration
