2132 (Mechanical Engineer) is present in the current Occupational List.
All my educational qualifications are in mechanical engineering. That is, both bachelors and masters are in mechanical engineering.

But my designation has been Quality Engineer in the last 10 years. This designation falls under the NOC code 2141 (Industrial Engineer). 2141 is shown as "Classified elsewhere" in NOC for 2132.

While being Quality Engineer, I did perform some duties which fall under NOC of Mechanical Engineer.

So I want to know whether I can apply with designation of Quality Engineer, if some duties mentioned in the experience letter coincide with those of Mechanical Engineer?

Please help, as this is a very critical question for my future.

Regards.
