Hi,
We applied for my parents sponsorship in 2020 and received the invitation to apply this year. For the income eligibility, we are good for 2021 and 2022 but we are falling short on the income requirements for the year 2023 by around $2,400. Has anybody been in the same situation? Is there any way around this?

It will be refused. That is one of IRCC most strict rules. Even if over by $100 it is refused. Not any way around it if your income doesn’t meet LICO.

Hello everyone,

I just recently submitted PGP 2024 ITA application for my parents.

They had supervisa but it would be expiring in less than a month.

I want to re-apply for a visitor visa (not super visa) this time around as super visa requires most of the supporting documents I submitted with the PGP application (eg, income, medical etc.)

But I am worried applying for a temporary visa while their PR is still being processed because they may wonder why I have two applications at the same time?

I need their help later on this year and don’t want to wait for 2 years (until their PR is approved) but I am confused if they would refuse them because I have PGP application in progress.

Has anyone applied for temporary visa for their parents AFTER send in application for PGP sponsorship? Were you approved?

What did you do differently in the temporary visa application?
