Hi All,

I wanted to start a thread to share our experiences, questions and track progress of those that have applied for PR within Canada.

Good luck to you all :)

YAY! When did you apply?

Do inland applications get processed any faster? Or is it just luck?

Hello guys, i am about to apply by end of august for my inland app. I just want to shate my history with my husband: so we met on sep 2018 and got married on april 2019 ( ceremony)and we are living together now after the marriage because we cant live together before marriage and we went for honeymoom too.We are going next week for our second wedding back home. So if i apply after i come back ( august 31) would it be a red flag for short relationship? I am pgwp now. Thank you i am really worried !

You are stressing out over nothing you are having your wedding where you’ll have all the expected rituals and customs. You have lived together for 6 months since your 1st wedding ceremony. There aren’t any huge red flags that I can see. Canada does approve arranged marriages where people may have only met once before their wedding to get engaged. Seems like you have lots of proof. Make sure to take lots of pictures of your wedding. Asssume you have records/conversations and pictures from when you were dating, got engaged, had first ceremony, honeymoon, moving in together, bigger ceremony, etc.

@canuck78 for the shared finances we will provide our joint account, and his credit card ( where i am beneficiary)..also the tickets taht we bought from joint account...money transfer to pay the ceremony..do we need to add something else ( like for example the receipt for the ring he bought me)..and do we need to provide shared finances from the time we applied too or anytime form the day of our marriage? Thanks
