So far you are waiting if your app is approved or denied, just in case is approved they are going to request your passport and the status will be DM, basically your are in the last part of your app

BY the looks of it, the next step will be 'decision made', and possibly any time from now to April / May (no guarantees, could be longer, but should be around this time).

They will write to you to call you in to a local CIC office for a 'landing interview' with your sponsor. Which means you will have your CoPR stamped and they will ask you a few simple questions you have already answered and send off for your PR Card - then that's it, you are PR.

Oh, so it's about final stage!
What are including in Background checks tho?
Security, Criminality and Eligibility???
Security and Eligibility??
Or do they just do security check through SCIS?

Also, the status of review of eligibility will be changed when they make decision, Right?

Sorry for bunch of questions!
All your helps are very appreciated!
Thank you!

So then, they almost finished processing my PR application, right?

Hi!
There is good news.
I just checked on my status through the phone call with IRCC agent.
As IRCC agent said, my security check is done and I passed security check.

Now they are working on my criminality check and Sponsor’s and my eligibility checks.

However, I'm still concerned about one thing.
As the IRCC agent said, they are NOW working on sponsor eligibility check with my Background checks.
Can this kind of things happen by the way? Or is there something wrong?
I heard that lots of people get Sponsor Approval right after AOR1..
Wasn’t my wife supposed get Sponsor Approval right after AOR1???

I would truly appreciate your advices.
Thanks you!

Congratulations, you have now experienced the 'mis-information help line'. They are notorious for not knowing what they are talking about! I am sure your wife is already sponsor approved. You are obviously stressing, why don't you order your case notes - really don't bother with the helpline!

Oh... so IRCC agents don’t even know details?
Also, I and my wife checked on eCAS long times ago and we found my wife’s Sponsorship application status on eCAS had been changed from ‘In process’ to ‘Application Received’.

So confusing... ahahahahaha...
So they need to work on My criminality check and Eligibility check, right?

I’m glad I heard that I passed my security check at least, but I’m still concerned as of I’m not Permanent Resident yet.

Strongly suggest you get your case notes.

It is hard to believe (but not impossible) that your wife is not sponsor approved after all this time (normally takes 3 - 4 months for SA) , but I think you need some peace of mind

Yeah, my wife and me... We both need some peace of mind, but it's hard.
Like I started getting nervous a bit lol
Hope everything goes fine.

Is it possible to order my spouse’s Case note on my own, even if I’m not Canadian citizen or PR?

SA for inland applications comes shortly before or around the time of the actual DM at the end of the process (ours came a day after DM). Outland applications get SA in the first few months, before the application is transferred to the local visa office, but not inland.

This application is progressing normally as they're still two months away from the 12 month mark.
