I would love to get a full understanding about what is said about if you applied on or before December 7 2016 the application is 12 months. My spousal sponsorship application was received by cic November 17,2016 and I’m still waiting for approval. My husband received a letter in March that he’s eligible to sponsor me since then nothing further
Are there anyone on this thread that have applied before December 7, inland and still waiting for approval
What next am I to expect?
My medical was passed 10 months ago also did my fingerprint as well more than a year ago

If you applied prior to December 7, 2016, the stated processing time for inland is 26 months. As of a few months ago, they announced that they have processed 80% of all outstanding applications from prior to that date.

If you got your medical 10 months ago, you should anticipate the possibility of having to re-do it (as they are only good for one year before they expire). If you get another medical request you will at least know they are moving forward with the application.
