What (if any) difference would the $230 fee rise give to 2015 applicants?

On the contrary what did the 2014 feb rise of 300$(?) do for 2014 applicants after feb?

Feb 2014 increased by $200, not $300. Applications made after that date have been processed faster, 6-8 months compared to 12-24 months, routine applications.

One apparent difference is initial screening of app to check for missing signatures, just after accepting the package (unlike being done after 2-3 months).

Any thing else expected/seen?
