Hi Bloom,

Arranged employment=LMO (which is now Lmia). It gets you a work permit which is valid only for work with that specific employer I.e. Closed work permit

We are in Canada and our employers got LMO on the basis of which they hired us/extended our employment with them.

Yes, LMO is possible when you are not in Canada. There are many agencies that get you in your with employers who need people with your skills. But caution is necessary. There are way too many frauds happening.

EE=we (sounds like a typo)

Thanks for the explanation. +1 for you.

Anyway, do you have any idea on how can I tap this companies who provide LMOs? Is it really hard getting one? And in what work industries are these usually provided??

Thank you again.

Mikeypm hope we hear the gud news soon...

Thanks, where in Canada are you?

Hi Bloom,

The scarcity of skills is the driving factor for LMOs. So, either you have super niche super specialty skills to get into a Toronto or Ottawa kind of big city (or you study here and gain Canadian experience which they value) or you are looking at remote places like sask where they need people. You will need to do some research because I'm not sure but I have heard that Alberta needs restaurant cooks(I work in the industry and hear chefs talk bout "when I was in Alberta, we were so desperate to find people.."

I mailed cic NDVO a month ago and then they mailed me today telling me my file is awaiting for further review,, any updates with u guyz rimi and sn

Nothing at all

It's my birthday today. I wanted to celebrate with my family. I was so excited when medical came in June. I was expecting other formalities to be finished by August amd I'll be in India. Alas! I have to celebrate 1 more birthday without them
Now I wish I could go home for diwali.

Happy birthday Rimi!

Looks like NDVO is slowly waking up. No new passport requests but I do see a couple of new medical requests.

One can only hope...

Belated birthday wishes rimi... I wish NDVO wakes up and send us ppr soon .. I hope you can celebrate Diwali with ur family,,

Thanks guys for the wish. As per the routine of ndvo, I'm expecting our ppr either this Monday or next monday. Because tthe last activity by them was on last monday and they usually send emails on Monday. So let's just pray and hope they end this endless suspense this week and turn our sad pout to a beautiful smile. Best of luck everyone
