2014 applicant question 6 F did you provide your employment record?

Hello guys i submit my application last march 19 2014, received in sydney march 21, 2014 and after 2 weeks they returned due to incomplete documents. They were asking for the school record of my kids. So I attached all documents of kids school record just to make sure and sent it back to sydney.... But then, when i double check the application form in question 6F if you are working you must provide your employment record for the last 4 yrs in the application which i did not, bec. Its not in the checklist......just want to ask if i have the same case that did not provide the employment record? What is your experience, did they return it to you? Or did you receive Aor and study book? Thanks in advance.....

Underneath Q.6F the documentary evidence which needs to be supplied is clearly mentioned and should have been appended, I included NOA and T4 for 4 years with my application. Hope that they do not return your application.

I called CIC yesterday because of the same thing. What I was told by the phone representative is that it "isn't a big deal" it is missed. Initially they want to make sure the application is legible and payment is made. Its just me applying...we don't have kids. If indeed, the application is accepted, I would just get a letter with the information they required

I am pretty sure they will still send my application back, but have everything in an envelope waiting till I see onlkinw that they kept or returned it.

They just got my application last week, but I was unsure if they would return my application because I had missed some documents so called CIC yesterday.

I wanted to re-send my application but the CIC phone representative said to wait until ECAS gives me an online status on my application. If they return it I have everything ready to go - with the missing documents!

Under "Gather Documents" there is no mention of a requirement for employment records (only educational records).

Furthermore, on the application checklist, there is no mention of employment records (only educational records).

It seems the only mention of it is in the actual question... which leads me to believe it was a poorly worded question.

OTOH, I just noticed that I messed up our app. Forgot to put the "unemployed" bit for the part before first job in Canada!
