I am starting this new topic as it will help us to get some clear picture about our status after submitting the RQ documents.

Yes, you can. No harm in calling CIC.

They recvd my RQ on 1st of June 2013. Waiting since then. I have requested ATIP as well. no updates whats so ever...

I submitted my RQ to Scarborough in Oct 1st and I called the agent today and he said they're processing it at St. Clair.. interesting...

Do you have any idea where is the real waiting time for RQ? is t really 35 months as per their website? or more?

I got notice to start preparing for the test on 6th Jan 2014 but no test date yet. I think they will send another letter with test date in it.
Every body in my situation, please keep updated.

I am in the same boat. My letter was dated Dec 23rd.

Acknowledgement along with study book sent on 18th Oct 2012
Started Processing: 12th Jan 2013
RQ received Aug 2013 from Scarborough office
RQ response sent to scarborough office on 7th Sept 2013
CIT 0521 notice to prepare for exam dated 23rd Dec 2013 received on 2nd Jan 2014 from St. Claire office

WAITING on test date
