2013 applicant - Assigned visa office

In the first email(AOR), there was no details of the assigned visa office. Does any 2013 applicant got second email informing applicant about the assigned visa office? Just want to understand the process i.e. whether CIC send an email when they forward the file to CPP-O or not.

It will be fwd to CPP-O.

It's a little confusing as it isn't clear from the AOR. Initially it's in Sydney for the completion check.

I read above in other thread just now. Just wanted to know a reliable link or page where above info is published. AOR emails does not say any. Until we receive a mail from visa office if something is missing which needs to be sent.

If there are any docs to be emailed after AOR is received, becoming tough to understand these processes.

Sydney complete the first part and it's sent to Ottawa after. It's detailed in OP25A. Irrespective of whether or not they stay in Sydney a little longer - they will be going to Ottawa !

As long as you ref. the documents correctly with your file/UCI number - it will be fine.

If you need to send any documents after getting AOR, my suggestion is to confirm with CPP-Ottawa or Call CIC asking where your file is. As Jsm said, files will eventually come to Ottawa. For some reason, some files are still held at Sydney weeks after receiving AOR. Hope this helps.

So two conclusions
1) CIC does not inform when they transfer the file to CPP-O. In the above case, applicant asked so they confirmed.
2) By now the applications that reached Sydney till 15th-Feb, would have been transferred to CPP-O. This is based on the above case i.e. On 3rd-May, CPP-O had the application that reached Sydney on 12th-Feb.
