2011 June Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases - ***We should be next***

I am starting this thread to track all the cases applied in 2011 at Buffalo office. Unlucky us - they have been transferred to Ottawa in June 2012.

Inviting you guys to post any communication that you have got from your Ottawa / MP Office etc...

My Timelines are:
Applied : June 14 , 2011.
AOR, 11th August, 2011.
Medicals No:

As per MP Office, my case will be finalized this year.

I do see some of the Feb cases are transferred to Mexico VO. I am not sure if that is a good news or bad news but nothing is predictable!!

Count me in! Let's hope transferring few cases to Mexico City VO is a good thing. As per Tej2013's lawyer late 2010 and early 2011 cases were transferred to these VO for processing, I think it's a good thing since Ottawa is loaded with applications not only from us (FSW bocklog). It seem re-transferring files to VO that has lower volume intake of applications is better than letting files piled up in one loaded VO and wait to be touched by officers.

Hi Bahadur,

Count me in. I am FSW1 applied in April 2011. My file also got transferred to Ottawa in July 2012.
Lets see transfer of Early 2011 files to Mexico City office brings what change.
My timeline is on left.

Good guys! I am going to create google doc spreadsheet and will track how the applications are moving for 2011. I know early 2011 applications were moved to Mexico VO.

Let see that helps everyone. We should order GCMS notes and find out where we are>

ask this guy "justtheme", he seems to know about a press release. This is from other Buffallo post where he posted:

"Hi Worth2Wait - I don't think everyone gets a message. I never was informed of my file being transferred but in follow up emails to CPP Ottawa they acknowledged it is there.


Agreed. They never notified people by email.

However, Ottawa did publish a public press release via their website. You should always keep an eye on both your email inbox and CIC's website."
