Calling all 2004 applicants from New Delhi.......lets unite & share our timelines.
I am a Jan 2004 applicant from New Delhi. I have completed my medicals in Sept 2010 & sent the passports along with with the landing fees way back in October 2010. After a long nerve- wracking wait, I finally mailed CIC in March 2011. They were kind enough to give a very long reply to me without the usual jargon " Your file is being processed." They wrote back that background checks are being conducted & since these checks are done by outside agencies, they could not give me any specific time frame as to when my file would be ready. Its mid May now. How long do I wait? Anyone has any suggestions for me??? What about others who have applied in 2004???
