Hi All,

I have around 24 months of work experience in Canada in the last 3 years.
But it is not continuous 24 months. My initial project in Canada was about 8 months and took a break for around 3 months. And have around 16 months of work experience now. Can this be counted as 24 months Canadian work experience and am I eligible to apply under CEC?

Regards,
NPTFDO

YES. The break does not matter, but within the last 3 years does...

Also- you say "about" 24 months. Be sure it is not less. More precisely, 104 weeks (with at least 37.5 hours per week) is the minimum, if it is less than that, it will be rejected...

Thank You for your response !
I have been living in Canada for almost last 2 years and have visited USA 3 times for 2-3 days each time.
I am an Indian and I know that I would need the Police Clearance certificate from India. Do I need to get the Police Clearance certificate from Canada and USA too? If so, where do I apply for these certificates?

As part of PR application, in my Background declaration form, I am supposed to mention all the addresses where I have stayed after my 18th birthday. Do I need to include only my residence addresses or do I also include the address of the hotels that I have stayed in during my trips to USA and other cities in Canada?

Please advise.

Thanks !!

to "nptfdo"

don't you have pay slips and offerletter as additional documents to prove you have 2 years of experience. the offer letter should have the commencement date and the slips should have the number of hours worked there.

NO. Every country you have lived in for at least 6 months, excluding Canada. If they later want one from Canada, they will request it.

the form's instructions do not say "stayed," (temporary) but "lived," that is, "residence." Official, permanent, or temporary residence (e.g. college dorm)) -

Unless the "visit" was extended (e.g. 2-3 months), and your activities included some that look like those of residents - e.g. received mail, took a class at a local college, obtained some ID using that address.... does not include tourist travel or brief visits or lists of hotels... :)
