2 Years experience 2 different NOC but very similar

Hi,

I got graduated in 2015 and have worked in 2 different companies for 1 year each.

in IT, the job titles are very vague because duties can be spread across multiple roles

Here is the problem...

I did my express entry application as (2171 - Information systems analysts and consultants) because my work experience of 2 years matches very closely with the duties mentioned under this NOC.

Now received the invite and I requested my 1st employer to write me an employment experience letter..
but they wrote me a letter with duties that are matching less with 2171 but more with (2172 - Database analysts and data administrators) where as the 2nd employer's experience letter's duties are matching closely with the 2171..

What shall I do in this scenario?

Option 1 - Shall reject the Invite and re-apply in the pool with 2 years experience in 2 different NOC?

Option 2 - Continue my application with existing invite (under 2171) and show the work experience in 2 different NOC (2171 for one year & 2172 for one year)?

Option 3 - Continue my application with existing invite (under 2171) and show both year's experience in the same original NOC (2171)?

My express entry score was 453. I got invite on the 22nd August round

Are u a Cec applicant or FSW applicant. I m not talking about EE score. If your FSW score is 67 or above with 1 year experience than u don’t need to claim 2 years experience becuz 1 or 2 years federal experience grants u same score for EE. So play safe and change the noc code to 2172 for which u have more relevant letter

Sorry but I am not a visa expert. I just created a profile and lodged express entry and received the invite. I dont know much about CEC or FSW

I have never been Canada, I studied in Australia and have these work experience from Australia.

Which means u are FSW applicant with 67 or more points. Chose one of the two nocs as a primary one and use the letter that is more relevant to it. U can always change your primary NOC after ita but not after eAPR

Agree with this. Just make sure you have a full 52 weeks of full-time employment in the job that you choose for your primary NOC...

But now it turns out that I only have 1 year experience in (2171) and the another one year experience is in (2172)

So if I amend it in the visa application..would these affect my visa application?

No it won’t. If u have score of 67 or more even with 1 year experience in one particular NOC u can delete the second one. Becuz for EE u get similar number of points for both 1 and 2 years of experience

Yes, I do have a proper work experience letter for the primary NOC that from 1 December 2016 to 14 December 2017
