2 year MBA is evaluated as Post graduation diploma

I have done MBA from PTU(listed in WES account)-Punjab Technical University

I got the WES equivalency of 2 year MBA as 1 year post graduate diploma..why this has happened? does the same happened to anyone else also?

Hi,
I've also got the same evaluation result. I'm unsure whether this is an error or not.
I've sent an email through ''contact us" in WES portal, but did not get any reply.

might be the course curriculum of your degree isn't comparable to master's program at Canada.

Even in the degree equivalency tool, MBA from most Indian universities are assessed as Postgraduate Diploma. When I checked it last month, it showed as a masters degree though. Not sure what happened in between.

I am not able to understand as i confirmed from one of my friends from same university & exactly same subjects, she got Masters equivalency for the same few months ago!!

True. A classmate of mine got his ECA done in Aug 2016. His MBA has been assessed as Masters only. Now, if my MBA is evaluated as Postgrad Diploma, then I will lose 7 points

WES recently changed their policy to evaluate Indian MBA. According to them, except IIT/IIM; all other MBAs are PG Diploma.
Though luck.

Yes I've got the same feedback from WES.
Now my question is: In the Level of education section, which option should i select in the drop-down?
"two or more certificates diplomas or degrees" or "bachelor's degree (three or more year program..)"??

Hi, Did they eventually re-evaluate your MBA masters as masters,Or it's given now that it would be PG diploma only unless it is from IIMs / IITs? My MBA is on top of 4 yrs BTech, in case that makes it Masters equivalent?
