Hey i just have two questions that i hope can be answered.

1. After the whole process is done, can we somehow request that immigration send back our option c folder with all our pictures and everything.

2. After we applied my wife got pregnant, she is living up in canada with me just on a visitor visa, we do apply for extensions and everything. Is there anyway to notify immigration of this change that would speed up our process so she can have our baby up here without it costing alot of money.
or if worst comes to worse and she has the baby down in america, would i have to do another application for my new born child?

1. No. They may or may not give it all back to you, but you can't request it back.

2. No, nothing will "speed up" your process. If she has the baby here in Canada, the baby is automatically a Canadian citizen and she won't have to worry about any paperwork, plus it's free since she's a Canadian citizen.

You can send a letter to the visa office that processed your file asking that they send your photos back. They may or may not do so. I sent such a letter and got my photos back, though, so it is not impossible.

They will not speed up the process because she is pregnant. You can send a letter to the visa office stating your wife is pregnant, to be used as additional proof of the genuineness of the relationship. If you send this extra info (or any other extra proof) just make sure to include the file number and both the sponsor's and applicant's full names and birth dates, so the visa office can find the right file to add it to.

If you are a Canadian citizen, the child will be Canadian too at birth, even if born in the USA. (There are some exceptions, but usually the baby will be Canadian.)
Also, some forum members have managed to get the applicant provincial health coverage while waiting. In Alberta this appears to be the norm. Some from Ontario have also managed to.

Apparently for BC as well - the spouse of a BC resident can be added to the MSP without waiting for the 3 months and without PR as long as the PR process has been started. So hopefully you live in one of these provinces!
Congrats on the pregnancy!
