We did our medical last Thursday. Everything is fine except of daughter's urine analysis results as it shows +2 protein. The physician asked me to bring her back to the clinic to repeat the test and do further investigation for renal.

Is +2 a concern, she is only 13 years old healthy girl. She never complained of any symptoms related to renal disease. What are the chances that this result is faulty?

I am taking her again on Thrusday and I hope that her anlaysis would show no protein.

Experts and those who had similar results, please give your opinion

Thank you

Crosscheck from some reputed lab probably from a pathologist.

Is it normal for this age to show +2 protein?

There are multiple causes of proteinurea(Albuminurea) ,less lethal is UTI (Urinary tract infection)mostly associated with pus ande blood in urine and it could easily be treated by antibiotics for 7-10 days .On the other hand renal parenchymal disease is a bit concern. But as you said about good health of the daughter most probably it would be UTI .So relax and get opinion from local physician.take treatment and retest all will be allright INSHA ALLAH

we repeated her test in our Hospital here and it all came negative. I don't know, but it looks like they switched her specimen with someone else there in the clinic. However I will take her again on Thursday to redo the test.

Thank you everyone for your advices and replies
