2 months of processing time and never got a response

I applied for the visitor visa online since April 1st, 2019. Then I did my biometrics on the 4th of April. Also i believe that the estimated processing time of the visa has passed.
I've been waiting since then, and I got no response, and i'm not sure what to do since i need to travel in like almost 5 days and i need to book a flight tickets
I did my biometrics in Cairo, Egypt when I was in my Easter Break from university, however on my application it says that I'm applying from London, United Kingdom since I'm a resident there. I'm currently in London, and I'm wondering if that is normal waiting for 2 months +
I would appreciate it if anyone would let me know whats wrong exactly

Wait times and rejections are more likely when you are applying from a 3rd country. Students have a very difficult time getting visas. Egyptians also have a difficult time getting visas for a variety of reasons these days (economy, political, many asylum seekers, etc.). unfortunately you are unlikely to get your visa in 5 days although there are always miracles. Don't book a flight without a TRV.
