I have an existing IRCC account where I created an Express Entry (EE) profile almost eight years ago. I can still see the details from that profile as it has not been removed from my account. The skilled NOC code I selected did not match my job at that time, so basically I did not submit the correct information. I received an Invitation to Apply (ITA), but because I was unable to corroborate my work experience, I did not submit my application.
Now, having worked for many years, I have decided to create a new profile with all the correct information. Even though I am not claiming points from my previous unskilled work experience shown in the previous profile, I am concerned that IRCC might compare my two profiles and think that I provided false information before. Therefore, I am considering creating a new IRCC account to submit my profile. Would this be advisable, or should I submit my application from the old account? The old account does not have any active applications.
