Hello,
I am in a tricky situation right now, my husband has a profile in express entry that we filed with the help of a immigration consultant, its been active since August 2017. Now when we are asking him to withdraw and recreate the profile for OINP, he is refusing and saying that it OINP doesn't works this way. It is way too apparent that OINP is selecting profiles made after 1st January, so we asked him to re create but he refused. Now can we create a new profile using our personal email id and later ask him to withdraw the profile? We do not have any access to our current profile.

Yes it really doesn't work that way. The dates have nothing to do with the selected profiles, it's with the qualifications/points of the profile. If you withdraw then recreate with just the same information/qualifications, there's no difference other than "resetting" your profile validity date.

Normally you fill out a form to authorize a representative. You will have to take control of the account and then file for cancellation of authority for the representative. If you can't take control of the account, then try reaching out to OINP for options. Good luck!

There is a big difference of the EE profile date when we are talking about receiving NOI from OINP.

we noticed that OINP is sending NOI to only people who made profile after 1st January 2018 that is the reason we wanted to withdraw and re submit the profile. I know it doesn't change anything for federal ITA but for OINP it matters.
