Hi all,

There have been posts that the last ITA (19th Draw) was on the 23rd October 2015.
Can anyone tell us what the lowest ITA score was?

If you received an ITA on the 23rd (19th Draw), can you post your CRS score, so we can get a rough idea? The CIC site has not yet been updated.

Its absolutely gutting, as my score was 481, so I felt certain I would get in on the next draw, but we missed the 2nd Oct draw by 6 HOURS!!
And now the 23rd Oct (19th draw) seems to be higher than 481, as else I would have got an ITA already.....

Very disappointed, and feeling very low about this.

Seriously? The answer is all over this forum and is also posted on the CIC web site. 489 was the lowest score for the 19th draw.

Thanks, I spent the last hour looking all over the forums and previous posts/pages, but could not find it.
Where does it state it on the CIC website? I just looked at this page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp) and it only shows the 2nd Oct draw.

Apologies for the duplicated post, but I did try to search. Feel free to be frustrated, but with how low I feel now that I found out I just missed it by a few points, and then having missed the 2nd october draw by 6 hours when I would have qualified with 481 (draw at 450), well, you can guess how I feel...

I would fully expect you'll be included in the next round. I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. But thats how me and my girlfriend (shes Canadian) felt when we missed the 2nd Oct draw. That was 450, so surelt we would get in on the next one with 481. Nope... Guess not... Its probably due to the BC PNP's as per reading the forums. But that issue may continue into the next draw, and the one after that....?

I do feel for others though, as you rightly say mine are high enough hopefully for the next one, but many on this forum are below 450. Plenty of people guessing and predicting, but as we just saw, you cant know until the draw has been done. My advise, if its possible, practise insanely for the IELTS/CLB, and re-take it, as thats the one that still remains in your control (ish). I've maxed out on what I can add using language, so I just have to wait and hope now. So frustrating not being able to do any more.

My feelings are more a mix of annoyance and frustration as if my consultant just got this in 6 hours earlier, 2nd october would have been a very happy day. And yes, got a consultant, I have my reasons... anyway, slightly wish I'd gone with someone else who was actually cheaper, but they didn't believe Express Entry was the way to go. Not the best start hey? Anyway, paid the deposit, might as well see it through, maybe even get a discount.

Good luck to everyone else.

IMO you're in a great situation. If express entry doesn't work out for some reason (which I'm sure it will with your score) - then your girlfriend can sponsor you for PR assuming your relationship is serious - and once you are either married or common law (i.e. have lived together for at least a year). The vast majority of people don't have these kinds of options.

Yes very true, the vast majority dont have these options.
However, we are still quite young (in our 20s) and dont want to rush into marriage. We have already discussed this, and dont want to marry just for a visa.

Don't take this the wrong way, as you are just suggesting options (I appreciate your help! :), but I have had many people suggest the marriage route, and It's very easy when thinking about visa's to suggest it, but take away the visa, and many people take years over getting married, even when the relationship is very serious. Not saying you mean this, but doesn't mean the relationship is not serious if we are not willing to marry just for the visa.

And I've been told even if you were married, its not the "simple route."

However, as you said, should still be a fairly good chance, so we'll wait and see with the ITA.

The lowest CRS selected was 489, and it was updated on CIC website. Please follow the link below:
