Dear All,

I have a small question. I am applying for express entry. I and my wife (Citizen) live in Canada. Her brother is a Canadian Citizen. As my wife is already in Canada and not going to accompany me, will I get 15 points for Sibling for her brother?
In the questionnaire, when they ask about my relative in Canada, I am not seeing any option for Brother-in-Law, should I choose Brother though he is my brother-in-law? Or I am not eligible to get 15 points.

I think you can claim points only if he is your sibling. So in this case you will not be awarded points.

I dont know what other guys are smoking,

but you will definitely get 15 points for your wife's brother.

Calculate yourself here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Incorrect. The points can only be claimed if the wife is accompanying in the application. Since the wife is a citizen she cannot be accompanying in the application so no points.
I just calculated the points under CRS tool. So, does that mean tool is not correct?

No - it means you gave an incorrect answer to one of the questions in the tool.
