Dear all,

My family has COPR and our destination is Saskatoon/ Saskatchewan. We need to make international flight to Vancouver and complete the landing procedures at international airport and then make a domestic flight to Saskatoon. Do you know if we should have a 14-day self quarantine plan in Vancouver or in Saskatoon? It is possible to select either place to self quarantine?

Thank you for your advice.

You will need to be prepared to show your quarantine plan to CBSA on landing in Vancouver where you will also complete all immigration and customs formalities. As a transit passenger if your intention is to quarantine in Saskatoon you must not leave airside before making your connecting flight

Assuming you are a PNP applicant then under normal circumstamces CBSA would expect to see onward travel to the PNP province however in these times everything is unpredictable so whether they would accept Vancouver as a quarantine is an unknown but would plan on assuming not.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. In order to have "acceptable quarantine plan" which include proof of funds and how to get groceries, medical care among other essential services. So my second question is how to show that I could access to medical care/groceries, etc... if my family are not allowed to go out? Will list of online-groceries or emergency call or health insurance certificate, etc. be acceptable?
