After the AIR for initial application, we get a deadline of 120 days for sending the full application to the local CHC.

If I send the full application sooner, say within 30 days, does it mean that they will start processing my application right after that?

Or will my application be sitting idle until the 120 days are over and only then be opened/processed?

am not sure; but both are possible based on chc - both cases were seen in the past.

may be those who have seen the status change to 'in process' can comment

The local CHC in this case is New Delhi.

It will commence ONLY after 120 days. Why? 'Coz that is ur BFD.

are you saying that full documents that arrive long before the 120days will have to wait till it expires before they are processed?

Yes. Why? Upon sending that 120 days letter, the VO marks ur file with a BFD and starts working on other files. He doesn't have time to keep jumping files each day to see docs/replies as recd. This is the regular process in CHC, that's why the delay (in each case), but good in totality of case processing.

Now, as ur docs arrive, a Jr. Officer posts them into ur file and keeps them datewise (read BFD) for the VO to review. Everyday, the VO takes out only those files 'marked' for that day. Reviews them, sends letters or re-marks a date (another BFD) for other processing like B/ground check completion. These files go back to the new BFD boxes.

This is the system of work at the CHC. File movement is case bound & time bound.

You may like to know how I know that? I have my reasons... It's a seperate discussion altogether.

Actually that is not the way the BF system works. The Officer would put a BF date for 120 days in the future in the case of FSW. But if the requested documents arrive before that date, the file would then be "brought forward " to the the officer. The office would review the file and determine if the applicant meets the minimum point score, that the experience documents meet the claimed NOC. Then the background checks would start. The file would then again be BFed.

i agree with PMM, as i have witnessed some people even recd visa within almost 120 days. one such case is of sharma77 on this forum. u can ask him. his case was flying and only delayed in the last because passport office delayed his son's passport. otherwise for him whole process would have lasted for say 6-7 months.

PMM, Sanjeevindia and Qorax thanks for your comments. I actually thought that there could be some benefit if document are gathered quickly and returned to CHC. It's good to know that their response will be reciprocal.

qorax is highly expert and I have got great regard for him. But I think he is terribly mistaken here. I have seen many cases who received medicals within 60 to 100 days after submission of full documents to CHC, ND. I try to post some of them.

http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers

In bracket first is the date of document submission & the second date is request for medical.

hiabhay (28.9, 18.11) sansoy (28.9, 18.11) accounts (27.8, 17.11) aa1972 (3.9, 15.11) mohitset (24.8, 4.11)
misscal (17.8, 28.10) mikshagj15 (6.7, 16.10) rathod (17.7, 26.9) aanbaan (24.6, 31.8) and so on.

The time to receive medicals after documents submission is 60-180 days quite for sure.

Brothers,

Anybody knows that within the NOCs, the HRSDC, from time-to-time, intimates CIC of Immediate Occupational Demands? And those files are *opened/moved tad faster (albeit, if they meet the benchmarks)?

Regards.

*Cases:Ab:2007-2008; ON:Jun 2009...
