120 days started yesterday

I got an email from sydney yesterday. I have 120 days time to send my documents to Berlin/Germany.
So I can start with the next step.

My application received Sydney 26.06.2009
Got email: 24.08.2009

It seams that the waiting time is going down.

Sydney received our application on June 9,2009 and we received our email to submit our supporting documents to Pretoria, South Africa on August 13th.
Pretoria received our documents on August 21st.
Now we have to wait, hope it is not to long. Emailed them to fast track as we are in Canada with WP.

I am from Germany.

I went to my bank and say them I need a international check in CAN $.

Took 1 week and I got it at home.

tHANKS ..Can you tell me which bank ..might be we have also in netherlands.
So you send that check along with your application and they accepeted as a international check Named on The Receiver General for Canada.
Please confirm.

it was Dresdner Bank, don´t know if you have it in netherland. Now they have a better home page.

than go to :Gebühren (fees) and there is a: Muster pdf it is a sample from one

They told there that the banks in germany an netherland will give you this one.

Hi susan,
I have checked with different banks in Netherlands but they do not send checks. One bank could send the check but they only send it directly to Canada. But since the Canadian Immigration at Sydney require the check along with the application I cannot choose that option.

Now( if i have other option) I could transfer the money to the German bank, so they could make a check for me and send it to me.

Do you know if that is possible or do I need to have a bank account for that or any other option?

Any advice or suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I think I would look for a bank which is also in Germany and Netherland. Maybe Commerzbank, Deutsche bank or so. Should be some. And than go there and tell them your problem and take the sample with you to show them. At the first time the person in bank told me that it is not possible and after i talk with the hotline of the bank i knew that it works and went there a second time.

just another idea call your embassy in Canada and ask them. I think they get checks from netherland sometimes.

Hope this helps. Don´t know if a german bank will do without a account.

If nothing help- just call Berlin Hotline and ask them.
