120 days -Deadline Pls help

Dear Members

I have received info .from my immigration attorney that they have received important info from VISA office with a deadline of 11th Sep,2009 and he also gave me reference no. from CIC starting with B XXX XXX XXX .

Is there any provision to check -online the details with the no. provided above?

I'm really confused . I have already requested my attorney to provide further info. but awaiting his reply.In mean time all your valuable inputs will be highly appreciated.

Further below is my details regarding application made

Initial Application sent : 20th April ,2009 to CIU,Sydney

Acknowlegement of Receipt : 22nd April, 2009

File transferred to Local Visa Office :10th May,2009 ( I calculated this from the date of 11th Sep,2009 since this is last date for full submission)

Are you sure about the AOR date from sydney ???? only 2 days to get your AOR !!!!

the second thing , if you have your file number, you can check your case online through immigration canada website without need to wait for answer from your lawyer through the following link :

Thanks for the reply ! I assumed the date of receipt (as per Fed Ex Delivery report) of my application at Sydney as AOR Date.

I also tried checking my on-line status but says we are not able to identify you using the info. provided

it is not receipt date but acknowledgment of receipt date. You should try log into e-case using your file number. Good luck.
