Dear All,
I would like to know some details about changing college and Program. I would wish to know the legalities and procedures involved in doing so.Mine detail as under.

>College to Institute.
>Ontario to Alberta
>1 year Post secondary Diploma to 2 Year Post Secondary Diploma

Q1=Should I need to inform CIC?
Q2=What is the procedure for extending study permit length. (As I am shifting 1 year to 2 year Diploma)?
Q3= Where and When should I apply for revise the study permit?

Can someone throw light on the various complications, advantages and disadvantages involved in doing so?

1. No,
2. Use the first one, and apply for the renewal with in 30 days of expiry.
3. Apply online at CPC, Alberta. Refer CIC

Not easy if you lack bonafide intentions. CPC Alberta hold every right to reject application if you play smart.

Generally, what happened? They approved or reject?

As I am shifting 1 year to 2 year diploma (without any specific reason just only for interest) Should I get approval or Not?
Both of diplomas (1 Year and 2 Year) are related to my previous study and work experience.

which option is better in your opinion:
Op-1: Apply for 1 year study permit. reach Canada, change my study program and then apply for extension.
Op-2: Apply for 2 year Study permit.

Problem come when you are changing course from a higher to a lower level and that shows your lack of bonafide intentions.
