Hi guys ,
My study permit recently expired but I had already applied for an extension 30 days in advance, I now have a full-time job offer in a NOC A position and as soon as my study permit gets extended, I will apply for my pgwp.

Now I know it is risky to go for 1 year pgwp but since I have a job offer I am willing to take the risk. Just wanted to know what my options would be to continue working in Canada after my pgwp expires.

- Best case scenario: I get an ITA near the end of my pgwp and apply for open work permit.
- Worst case scenario: I do not get an ITA.

In the event of the worst case, I was wondering what my options could be?

tbh you are right, I wouldnt waste money on another degree and go for the job.
that's my idea as well. It doesn't make sense financially for me to go through another course (approx 16k CAD).
I was also looking at getting an open work permit based on my common-law's pgwp (she's in a 2 year course rn and will get a 3 year pgwp once it ends in Aug)

that's only if things do not work out on my end. That's solely based on her ability to get a NOC 0,a,b job or are there any other requirements to look out for?
