1 question about sponsoring my wife thats in canada allready

just one question.... it says here she will need a medical i was wondering does she get it now and hand in the medical with the papers or do we wait until someone notifies us to get the medical when the papers are handed in allready?

no...you must contact a physician near you that is on their list and acceptable to them....make an appointment for the medical........take in the medical form provided in the application package along with three pictures.....the doctor will do the medical and send in the results directly to the processing center......independently of you sending in the PR application.....

when you take in the pictures the secretary/helper person will attach one of the pictures on the medical form....one on the form for blood work and one on the form for xrays..they are signed by the respective doctor/practitioner and then sent on....it is quite simple and stress free

quite likely your wife will not have medical coverage so you will have to pay for it yourself....mine cost..

remember, depending on where you live, it will take several weeks for the doctor to get the results of the medical test back.....
