Hello,

I left India on September 23rd and had long transits and reached Canada on September 25th.
While filling personal history section for citizenship application it doesn’t accept gaps.

I cannot put September 24 as in transit as I need to add address on that day, which I cannot since i was in transit

Can I put September 24th as date of leaving India?

Thanks

Which section of the application are you speaking about here?
The physical presence only asks for the days you left and entered Canada, not when you started your trip, so it wouldn't matter if it took you 2 days to show up at the airport here...

Were you in a transit country (other than India and Canada) on the 24th?

Residence and tax section needs to have all addresses without gap

As far as I remember, the residence section only asks for the month and year.
And tax section asks whether you filed tax in Canada on a given year, so a specific day wouldn't matter...

Nevermind I stand corrected. It does list the day and my memory failed me here, apologies. Well, you still "resided" in India during your trip, so just add that day for your Indian address. It won't matter anyway and IRCC only checks precise day in the physical presence calculation.

Yes I had a long wait for the next flight and stayed at airport.

That's fine, but they really aren't looking for that fine detail at this stage - or put simply, they do not care what lounge you were in while transiting.
