Hi MSMirza

Thank your reply i know in the list it is there. But i am not able post the link where i saw the points calculator in the forum.
Please goto cic website --->immigrate---> skilled worker----> on right hand side you can see "come to canada" link . Please click on it. This is the calculator for points . It show that this category does not exist . thank you

Yes punnam you are correct that 0631is not in the list. Actually there are 4 more professions not included in the list...including Pharmacists (3131). And also one has to have the the IELTS or TEF results in hand to be able to check eligibility.

Not quite sure why the NOCs have been omitted in the Magic tool whereas they very much are part of the MI list. Either this is a mistake or deliberate 'doing' on the part of CIC to restrict these professions, which is really unfair.

Hope this is a mistake and will be corrected shortly.

Sorry for not getting your point the first time!!

As Mitali said, im pretty sure its a system error and would be fixed soon!

OK - the quota for these NOCs is most certainly NOT filled up for this year:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

0631 Restaurant Managers = 26/500
3131 Pharmacists = 27/500

If CIC deliberately meant to exclude these, they would not be included on the official in-demand 29 list.

This is just another example of why, it seems, CIC and technology do not belong in the same universe. If they can't even get their own list of 29 occupations right on their own eligibility tool, what can we expect them to get right?

But for sure, this is just an error, not a deliberate omission.

Wayne.

Maybe "oversight" would be the official term :D

"Undersight" more like! They can't even count to 29! Presumably they ran out of available fingers and toes at 24! ;)

Now it shows the full list and 631 is there on the top.
