I received my e-COPR on July 12 and submitted photo for PR card but was rejected on Aug 10. Re-submitted photo on the same day itself, but haven't heard back. My e-COPR expires on Nov 17. If I do not receive my PR card by that time, will I have to apply again?

Hello, I would like to know if I can travel outside Canada after applying for PR. I have applied for PR under the CEC and have a valid Work Visa. Can I use that to travel while I await PR decision? Has anyone done this? Would really appreciate if someone can share the steps.
