A guy on this very same forum shared that he, Indian - Non-SDS - Applied 12 Aug - got AIP on 21st Aug without biometrics. Frustrating to wait isn't it.

Applied Aug 27th With Medical Submitted SDS No update (Don't ask why so late, complex situations) I can't afford to defer, guys any updates? Is the number of AIPs for Aug applicants rising or what?? Waiting is so frustrating, coming 3-4 years' plan on stake.

I see, I was in an illusion that even biometrics is supposed to be done before AIP, misguided by some senior. But thank you for your response.
