my husband medical expired july 6, 2019. They extended his say ” medical passed”. that means you dont need a remedical.

but if you are coming to canada from pakistan then they ask you because they asked my husband who just aboard the plane at 6:50 am (pakistan time). they even asked him show our marriage certificate ( nikahama) and copy of my canadian passport.

If are going to come Canada then you need have COVID test because airline would not you board the plane. It says on their website. There is certain time limit.

A family member of a Canadian citizen can come to Canada. They need get COVID test before the flight and need to have quaratine plan for 14 days and valid visa.

I think you should apply for renewal before applying

My husband was permanent residence visa issues on September 23 2020. The expiry date of the permanent residence visa March 30, 2021. His medical was expired on July 6, 2020. They have extended his medical due to COVID 19.

My friend’s husband who lives in Pakistan got his passport return in 3 Business days. He got the passport request on aug 26 and send his passport on the same day. He got it back on September 3 with permanent residence visa stamped on it.

Yes, I was actually surprised when he received passport request today because yesterday he received pre-arrival. Usually it a week or more to get passport request.
