We have sent our passports for the visa stamp just now. It is a visa reissue since we couldn’t go due to covid last year. Our old visa expired. We redid medical in April. Do they always give a visa validity of 1 year from medical like before?

No.. we got only generic reply.. they are just not answering any of the questions we asked

We did not submit any documents. We just requested them to grant an extension and asked them the further steps. I will update if I get a reply

We have an expired COPR too. We sent a webform to IRCC staying that we are ready to travel. Border is not accepting soft landings with expired COPR. We are waiting to hear back from them

Hi, We are also planning to cross the border through Ambassador bridge next week. Did they ask for 14 day quarantine plan?

Avr is still allowed. I called CBSA at ambassador bridge and they said that only people who want to settle in Canada permanently can land. So it’s in the officers discretion I guess. Also it’s better to make plans for 2 weeks. You can cancel later

Let me know if you were able to land successfully. I am also planning to land sometime this month but was not sure if we will be let through
