Hi @SmzAmir , Silly question: Why does your spouse need to get CoPR before you? I thought the principal applicant had to be "landed" first? Now I'm confused. Could anyone who knows clear this up for me pls?

I have a case of bad timing. I have to go to Europe next week. Question: Is it risky to leave before receiving eCOPR? Worst case: I'll stay in Canada and my husband & son make the trip alone. What do you guys think? (I'm from a visa waiver country - eTA.)

After the 2nd medical for my outland dependents showed as passed, I got the Portal after 3 days which coincidentally was the exact day of my due date from the CBSA notes. Your spouse should do the medical asap. Happy for you :)

Keep in mind that you will need a proof of address if applying online because this is where they will physically send your new SIN to. If I were to apply in person, I'd always choose to apply at the place where I actually live. So Montréal might not be the best place. Just my 2 cents.

Then I can only imagine that the officer didn't put a reminder/bring forward date on your file. I would raise a webform and inquire about the status. Once the webform is attached to your file (in a month or so) the officer has to look at it. The other alternative is wait :/ Hope you will have...

Could be that info sharing is not complete yet, or criminality has not started or is in progress. Sometimes background check takes ages.
