    CIC website says even if your PR card expires while not meeting RO that doesn't mean you are not PR of Canada. PR card is required as an Canada entry and exit document. Can someone elaborate on this keeping in my mind my special case. I am seeing sponsorship is going out of question in my case...

    Hi, We (me, my husband and daughter) got our PR in 2015, we stayed in Canada for a brief period of 215 days (7/Oct/2015 till 9/May/2016) and then had to travel back to India due to pregnancy and some other family issues. Our PR card is due for expiry in Jan 2021 and our RO criteria is not met...
