So there are less applicants in Nov/December or what? In Sep/Oct there were lots of updates on PGWP approvals but things seems to be drying up.

This might be updating your Biometrics ...that is why it is a kind of ghost update but the biometrics data is updated within 24 hours... am not sure what else it can be

I am not sure but I think they dont care about the non-DLI... the requirements for PGWP are clear... adding non-DLI might even confuse them or create delay in my view... Also i was looking at Abu Dhabi office...my God...they process applications from Pakistan, UAE, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kuwait...

why cant they hire 200 ppl extra? Thats not expensive for Canada

I just saw that documentations required for Oman are hell lot... including PCC...which for example is not needed for applications from my country of residence ... and all those forms etc are hindering your applications probably...I hope all goes fine and 6 months are good enough wait... Maybe...
